Xylem Inc. (NYSE: XYL), one of the world’s leading water technology companies, today announced a change in the leadership of its investor relations team.
- Matthieu Latino, currently Vice President, Investor Relations, is appointed Vice President, Finance, Xylem’s Applied Water Systems (AWS) Business and Americas Sales Team (ACT), effective January 1 2022. Mr. Latino will report to Sandra Rowland, Senior Vice President, President and Chief Financial Officer.
- Samir Patel, currently Corporate Treasurer, is appointed Vice President, Treasury and Investor Relations, also effective January 1, 2022. In addition to his current role as Treasurer, Mr. Patel will be responsible for all aspects of the Company Investor Relations, reporting to Sandra Rowland.
“Matt has done an outstanding job leading our investor relations activities since 2017,” Rowland said. “He brings in-depth knowledge of our corporate strategy and financial operations, as well as a passion for talent development. His expertise will be a valuable asset for our Applied Water Systems and Americas businesses.
“As treasurer, Samir has forged strong relationships with our banking partners and pioneered our financial activities related to sustainable development. He brings in-depth business knowledge to his expanded role of leading our shareholder and investor engagement activities. Matthew Latino joined Xylem in 2012 and has been leading investor relations since 2017. Prior to Xylem, he worked in the audit practice at Deloitte and Touche. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from SUNY Oneonta.
Samir Patel joined Xylem from ITT in 2011. He holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, with a concentration in international finance, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Arizona State University. . Prior to ITT, he held finance and treasury positions at International Paper and GE.
