The global asset management arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, MUFG Investor Services, today announced it has added two new executives to its team. Oliver Scully has been appointed Head of EMEA Sales and David Sarfas as Global Head of Private Equity.
Scully and Sarfas will both be based in the company’s London office. Sully will report to Mike McCabe, Managing Director, Global Head of Business Development, and Sarfas will report to John Sergides, Deputy Managing Director.
The appointment of Scully and Sarfas further shows that MUFG is committed to growing its investor services business. In recent years, the company has invested heavily in these sectors. In his new role, Scully will be primarily responsible for increasing the growth of MUFG’s asset management solutions in the EMEA region through private equity, real estate, hedge funds and funds of funds. The solutions he will be responsible for include fund administration, middle office outsourcing, custody, custodian, trustee, fund of hedge fund financing, foreign exchange and broader banking services.
Previously, Scully worked at Citco Fund Services, a subsidiary of the Citco Group, for 14 years. Here he was Managing Director responsible for sales and marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
