Asset Servicing Industry News | MUFG Investor Services launches new business advisory group

MUFG Investor Services, the global asset servicing arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, has launched a business advisory group, which aims to provide information and solutions to financial clients around the world.

The New York-based team will be led by Brian Yegidis, recently head of prime services and hedge fund advisory for the Americas at Credit Suisse.

Caley Watnick will join Yegidis, who also comes from Credit Suisse where she was a prime consulting partner.

Through this new group, Yegidis and Watnick will work alongside the expanded MUFG Investor Services team to provide additional services to clients, as well as redesign internal processes and improve the company’s understanding of emerging trends.

Both Yegidis and Watnick bring over 30 years of experience and understanding of relationships in the investment and asset management industries.

Joseph Latini, Global Head of Business Development at MUFG Investor Services, said, “We strive to be a trusted advisor and solutions provider to our clients by guiding them on more than their trades. This new group will equip MUFG with additional tools to provide top-notch service and expert advice to clients around the world and give them additional capabilities beyond the services we have traditionally provided as a business. I’m really happy to have them on our team. »
