AIA Singapore has appointed Damien Tan as the new Managing Director of AIA Financial Advisers (AIA FA) effective September 1, 2021.

A seasoned industry professional, Damien has over 23 years of experience in all areas of distribution and strategy and will be responsible for managing the continued development and growth of AIA FA. Damien succeeds Delon Choo, who is called upon to lead as Chief Agency Officer of AIA Singapore.

Damien’s appointment will allow AIA FA to continue leveraging technology and digitization to further transform AIA FA’s business, driving innovation to create more valuable experiences for customers and providing them with a greater accessibility to professional and quality financial advice.

Damien first joined AIA Singapore in 1996 where he spent more than a decade and assumed the role of Head of Agency Management Support for AIA Singapore in 2010. Carmignac

Carmignac named Abdelak Adjriou as manager of the Carmignac Portfolio Global Bond Fund. This global bond fund invests in interest rate, credit and currency strategies across the world and implements a conviction approach in all market conditions.

Adjriou joined Carmignac in Paris yesterday.

Prior to that, Adjriou worked at American Century Investment, where he launched a total return strategy in emerging markets.
